Hospitality terms and conditions

DEFINITION
  1. An accommodation agreement is intended as an agreement between the manager and the client for the supply and use of the recreational service the structure provides in accordance with the
    standard of 17/5/1983, No. 217 and regional legislations, in particular as regards hotels, tourist-hotel residences, camp-sites, tourist villages, holiday houses and apartments, room rentals..
  2. The board and lodging agreement is concluded when the manager of the recreational structure accepts and confirms the booking received in any way, by word or written, by the client or by someone acting of his behalf..
RESERVATION
  1. In case of advanced booking of accommodation services, the manager may ask the client not only for written confirmation of the booking (giving date and hour of arrival and departure, address and telephone number) but also for a deposit (confirmatory) up to 1/3 of booked service charge for the
    entire stay period, as well as a minimum of one overnight stay charge. The deposit may also be paid by credit card if previously agreed..
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
  1. The board and lodging agreement is concluded for one night unless otherwise specified..
  2. The client can occupy the room (or accommodation unit or space) by 4 pm on the day of arrival and must vacate it by 12 pm on the day of departure; if it is not vacated by the this time the manager,
    unless otherwise agreed, has the right to charge for another overnight stay..
  3. In case of advanced booking the client must arrive at the recreational structure, unless otherwise agreed, by 7 pm of the day specified in the booking. If booking is guaranteed by a deposit, arrival is allowed up to 12 pm of the day following the date stated in the booking. Beyond this deadline the
    agreement is intended as cancelled, without prejudice to payment of the forfeit..
CANCELLATIONS AND PENALTY CLAUSES
  1. In case of delayed arrival with respect to the date stated in the booking the client will be charged for all the services booked and reserved for him..
  2. If the customer gives a notice of termination of the contract before his/her arrival, the following clauses are applied:

    1. if the client withdraws from the agreement by giving at least a 30-day notice before the service date, he will be charged a forfeit equal to 10% of booked service charge up to a maximum of one
      day service costs and is entitled to deposit refund minus the forfeit; the deadline is reduced to 10 days in the case of overnight stay only and for not more than 2 nights;;
    2. if the client withdraws from the agreement after the dates stated in point a) by giving at least a 15-day notice before the service date (or 5-day notice in case of overnight stay only and for no more than 2 nights) he will be charged a forfeit equal to 20% of booked service cost up to a maximum of two days service costs and is entitled to deposit refund minus the forfeit;;
    3. if the client withdraws from the agreement after the deadlines given in point b), whether he gives notice or not, the deposit will not be refunded..

  3. If the client cancels the agreement by leaving before the booked period is over he will be charged a forfeit equal to 2/3 of booked and not enjoyed service costs, with a minimum forfeit charge of one day service costs..
  4. If the agreement cancellation is due to the manager the forfeit refunded to the client is twice the amount of the deposit if cancellation is notified prior to client’s arrival or equal to the price of the services to be provided if notified after client’s arrival. Forfeit is not due when the manager is unable to provide the services owing to circumstances beyond his control and on the condition that he finds accommodation for the client in another recreational structure equivalent to the one booked..
ADDITIONALS FOR EXTRA SERVICES
  1. Accommodation service cost includes the use of equipment and ordinary furnishings of the rooms (or accommodation units), and the general services of the recreational structure itself, taxes and
    services included..
  2. The extra services and equipment the client may ask to use optionally involve an additional charge (this must be clearly specified and notified to the client beforehand)..


    The following are usually considered extras::
  • bar and fridge-in-room products;;
  • meals not included in board or half-board;;
  • breakfast if not included in overnight stay price;;
  • drinks;
  • phone calls;
  • extra beds in single or double rooms;;
  • use of covered garage or attended parking lot;;
  • use of equipment (such as TV set, air-conditioner) when these are not part of ordinary room furnishings (or accommodation unit) and which are available to the client on request;;
  • the use of sports and recreational centres and equipment and other centres, equipment and services for which there is a charge for their use and the option of using them:;
  • the use of electricity in camp-site tent lots;;
  • cleaning and supply of bedclothes in tourist villages and in holiday houses and apartments where this is not included in the price..
BOARD TREATMENT
  1. Full-board includes accommodation, breakfast and two meals. Half-board includes accommodation, breakfast and one meal. Drinks are not included either in full- or half-board. Full- and half-board is
    usually applied for minimum periods of three days..
  2. The price agreed for meals becomes effective from the first meal after arrival at the recreational structure; the meals included in the boarding price but not served to the client on the day of his arrival will be served the day of his departure in compensation..
  3. No reduction is due for full- or half-board clients who do not attend meals. The client has the right, on request made by 8 pm on the previous day, to a picnic lunch pack in replacement of a main meal. Full- and half-board requires that meals be eaten at the given times..
