The route winds along the hydrographic left of Toce and exits from Vogogna through the old town and, after the provincial road, reaches the railway underpass on the Bosco Tenso cycle path towards Premosello -Cuzzago. The cycle path develops in the plain towards the river Toce that will be crossed in Migiandone. Passing on the orographic right of the Ossola, follow a short stretch of paved road towards Ornavasso until you reach the beginning of the Linea Cadorna road.
Here you can make a very interesting detour to the Boden shrine. Following the military road, which climbs with a constant slope, you will find the first trenches, the access tunnels to the trenches and the machine gun stations, until you reach the "Bara Fort". Pass the crossroads of the mule track that continues towards Monte Massone, cross two bridges and then reach the asphalt road to Boden. Once you reach the Boden Shrine, after visiting the church, you can stop at the local trattoria for a snack. Just below the square begins the mule track of the Chapels, continue until you cross the road that goes down to Ornavasso, then straight up to the Parish Church. Just above you can see the Tower, the Church of the Guard and some remains of the Castle.
In front of the village you can see the "hole" of the Candoglia quarry from which the marbles of the Duomo of Milan have been extracted for 5 centuries.
After passing through the village of Ornavasso you arrive at the cemetery, on a dirt road and path, from Camponi’s house you go along the base of the slope that crosses the residential area to Gravellona Toce and the hamlet of Pedemonte.
