The oratory is situated south of the village close to the cemetery where the ancient settlement of Saint Martino di Zuxiana arose in past times. It is a XII-century Romanesque building with single hall and semi-circular apse. Both small bended windows with openings and the hanging archlets parted in groups of three are original. The pictorial apparatus of the building is concentrated in the apsidal zone and its sides, the sole ones to have survived the partial church collapse in 1895 after a snowfall. In the vault you can see Christ Pancreator, in the iridescent mandorla, the Evangelists and their symbols. The Prophets, Apostles and, in the last register, the Works of Mercy, are below. The Archangel Michael and a Madonna on the throne with Child are at the apse sides. The attribution of the wall-paintings isn’t certain yet. Some scholars recognize in Giovanni and Luca De Campo the authors of the works. However, they painted also similar frescoes at the Oratory Della Mora at Briona dated the 1st of September 1463. In 1991, the Municipality promoted a praiseworthy restoration campaign to safe the paintings damaged by neglect and bad weather.
