The oratory dedicated to Saint Peter is situated between the cemetery and the Parish church along the road leading to Tornaco. This single-hall building shows a simple style; it is covered with a wooden frame, on which lean the tiles. In its interior, above the altar, you can admire a valuable wall-painting depicting the Madonna with Child on the Throne between Saint Anthony Abbot and Saint Peter with other Saints, ascribed to Sperindio Cagnola and dating back to the first halt of the XVI century. Above this, just beneath the roof weathering, there is the representation of the Christ’s Passion and Resurrection. The side walls, too, are embellished with contemporary wall-paintings depicting the Saints venerated in those lands. The Madonna del Latte, wearing a richly decorated dress, is unusual and sumptuous The wall-paintings have been only recently brought to light thanks to a skilful restoration.
