The oratory of Santa Maria is in the countryside between Bellinzago and Alzate di Momo at the Linduno farm. It is mentioned for the first time in 1324 when it was under the possession of the Bishop of Novara Uguccione Borromei; later it passed under the jurisdiction of the monks of the Badia di Dulzago, who administrated the rural possessions all around. Restored in some parts early in the 20th century, the oratory has a single nave with semicircular apse. Its interior contains valuable frescoes that depict the stories of the Virgin Mary of the painter Luca de Campo, dating back to 1468 and ordered by the Milanese Bassiano Calco, provost of Dulzago. The Annunciation is painted on the triumphal arch. In the apse drum, starting from the left one can see the mysteries of Mary’s life: the Annunciation to the shepherds, the Nativity, the Adoration of the Magi and the presentation to the Temple. Mary’s Assumption, surrounded by playing Angels and the Apostles at their feet, and is depicted in the dome.
