The parish church dedicated to Saint Vito, formerly parish seat since XI century, stands in the south village side, along the road leading to the cemetery. It is mentioned in the donation of bishop Pietro to the St Mary’s church of Novara and Saint Gaudenzio’s in 1013: a subscription of certain “Angelberto de plebe Mosetio” comes out from the acts. Saint Vito, however, has even older origins as it is implicitly mentioned as lands owner. The church has the nave and two aisles with belfry incorporated in the south semi-aisle and aligned with the façade, which is preceded by a little porch. Many refurbishing works have followed one another over the centuries since the 15th century, when nave and aisles are covered with vaults, while the side walls and the central apse are abundantly decorated with wall-paintings. Only some of them remain and aren’t clearly readable, for sure others are covered with later paintings above all in the south aisle. Then, still in the 17th century, the north span is adapted to house a chapel for the baptistery, the Romanesque high apse, covered with ancient wall-paintings (witnessed) is demolished and the presbytery zone is fixed up. The interior is abundantly decorated over the XIX century. Of the Romanesque building remain some traces, which are visible from outside the south wall, others, such as two single lancet windows cambered at double embrasure with cambered loophole, hidden beneath the pitch.
