The oratory stands inside the cemetery at about one kilometre away from the village. It is a Romanesque building with a simple nave with saddleback style façade and semicircular apse. Many restoring interventions were carried out over the centuries; the belfry, instead, is original; it is a work of the school of Como (as Verzone says dating it to between 1050 and 1075) and rises close to the church north side. It is a true jewel of architecture, slender and harmonious without pebble stones or salvage materials but carefully split stone. The frescoes cover all the walls; they date back to the XV and XVI century but are in a good conservative condition thanks to a careful restoration performed some years ago. The particularly valuable Madonna del Latte between San Rocco and San Grado was painted by Giovanni Antonio Merli in 1488. The frescoes covering the apsidal conch and the lower order of the south wall, painted between 1514 and 1524 on the north wall, are ascribed to Sperindio Cagnola. The frescoes that cover the upper part of the south wall and depicting the Passion of Christ date back to the second half of the 15th century and are ascribed to the Master of the Passion of Postua by Bandiera.
